Our Name

Barbara’s Pantry is named in honor and memory of Beverly's sister, Barbara Deloris Ross Syrkett, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 32. She was a kind and generous person. She was always helping others, even when it was a hardship for her. If you dropped by her house, she always offered you a meal. If you needed help with a particular thing, she was there to offer her assistance. This ministry is dedicated to her and her spirit of helping others whenever and however she could.
